eRacks/STUDIO3
The eRacks / STUDIO3 is a professional-grade audio creation / production computer system, hardware-optimized for studio-level audio and video work. The system is Linux-based, with an Intel i3 CPU, and QuietByDesignTM, which means computer noise won't interfere with your audio production.
The system comes installed with Open Source audio and video software applications. No licenses, no upgrade fees, ever. Copy and distribute freely. Come join, contribute, and share with the Open Source audio community, where users and developers work together.
The excellent DAW software, Bitwig Studio, is available by custom quote. Even though we are Open Source perople here at eRacks, Bitwig is an outstanding example of software design and execution, and fully supported under Linux.
The eRacks/STUDIO3 is available as a rackmount system, or a desktop. It can accommodate up to 128 GB of DDR3 memory with the default mobo, and more by custom quote. The Rackmount chassis and desktop options can accommodate 4 PCI slots (including PCIe), 1 x 3.5" drive bay, and 2 x 5.25 bays, which could be used as removable hot-swap storage or DVD-ROM drives.
