eRacks/MINER6

eRacks/MINER6 is a pre-built, pre-configured 6-GPU open-air mining rig. A mining rig is a computer that earns cryptocurrency by completing proof-of-work computations (POW, the hashing that secures the network); all of that work runs on the GPUs themselves.

Why open-air and x1 risers are the right tool here: mining traffic over the PCIe bus is negligible, so the classic x1 USB riser (the cable linking each GPU to the board) is exactly right for this workload, and the open frame gives six spaced cards the airflow they need to run 24/7. (Running AI models is the opposite case: model traffic needs bandwidth, which is why our Open-Air AI servers in this category use x8 and x16 risers instead.)

Power, spec'd honestly: six mining GPUs draw roughly 1.5 to 2kW under load. That is more than a single standard 120V outlet should carry continuously, so we configure dual power supplies across two circuits, or a single 240V feed, to match your site, the same power discipline as our AI builds.
