eRacks/NVR
One box, every camera. The eRacks/NVR records your ONVIF/RTSP IP cameras to surveillance-rated CMR drives (Seagate SkyHawk AI / WD Purple Pro) in a single rackmount appliance — storage and capture together, ideal for smaller deployments.
Hardware-accelerated, not brute-forced
Current Intel QuickSync graphics (UHD 770) decode and encode H.264/H.265 camera streams in dedicated silicon — so the NVR handles many cameras at low power and leaves the CPU free for recording and analytics. (Arrow Lake option adds AV1.)
Bring your own VMS — open source, no per-camera fees
Frigate (real-time AI object detection), ZoneMinder, Shinobi, Viseron, Moonfire — install the capture software that fits, with no license tax per camera and no cloud lock-in. Your footage stays in your building.
Open all the way down. Ubuntu LTS or Debian, open-source storage and VMS, standard serviceable hardware. Built to order by eRacks — open-source experts since 1999.
