eRacks Video NAS systems are purpose-built storage for IP video surveillance — engineered for the sustained 24×7 write workloads, high camera counts, and long retention that general-purpose NAS and consumer recorders can't handle. Every system runs ZFS on an IT-mode HBA with ECC memory and surveillance-rated CMR drives (Seagate SkyHawk AI, WD Purple Pro), so footage is protected end to end and verified on every read.

Choose your chassis from 8 to 105 hot-swap bays, drive capacity, 10/25GbE networking, and capture software (Frigate, ZoneMinder, Shinobi, and more) — or run it as a raw NFS/iSCSI target behind an existing NVR or VMS. One platform scales from a small install to enterprise multi-petabyte retention.

The eRacks/NVR combines IP-camera recording and storage in a single rackmount appliance — ONVIF/RTSP capture to surveillance-grade drives on an open-source Linux base, ideal for smaller deployments that want one box.
